Though I love torquey engines, they make a slow car (or bike) feel a lot faster than it is.

I love my big v-twins because power is basically always instantly on tap, which makes for a very fun streetable bike, and while most cruisers are still pretty damn fast, horsepower is horsepower and sport bikes usually have more of it.

It also doesn’t help that some of the matchups had bikes that weighed more than twice the competition. That V-Rod though held it’s ground surprisingly well against that ‘busa.

Think so. For as much shit as the V-Rod rightfully gets, it’s a damn fast motorcycle. Goes to show that not all V-twins have to be shallow angle low compression, low revving, air cooled luggers. W hy someone doesn’t put a bigger displacement version of that in a big cruiser I have no idea.

The sportbikes seem to be having issues keeping both wheels on the ground, and still smoke the cruisers easily .... That 11 second pass on the first race could have been at least a full second shorter with a better rider.

maybe the one guy on the dresser will be the best,. but sport bikes arent as bad as they once were.
